Your Data
Privacy Policy
Our website address is puretennis.net. Here's how we handle information collected through the site.
Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site, we collect the data shown in the comments form, plus the visitor's IP address and browser user agent string, to help with spam detection. An anonymized hash created from your email address may be checked against the Gravatar service; after your comment is approved, your profile picture may be visible publicly alongside your comment.
Media
If you upload images to the website, avoid uploading images with embedded location (EXIF GPS) data — visitors can download and extract location data from images on the site.
Cookies
If you leave a comment, you may opt in to saving your name, email and website in a cookie for convenience (lasting one year). Login cookies persist for two days (or two weeks with "Remember Me"), and screen-option cookies last one year. Editing or publishing content sets a short-lived cookie containing no personal data.
Embedded Content
Pages may include embedded content (videos, images, articles) from other websites, which behaves exactly as if you visited that other website directly — including its own cookies and tracking.
Who We Share Data With
If you request a password reset, your IP address is included in the reset email.
How Long We Retain Data
Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely so follow-up comments can be recognized automatically. Registered users' profile information is stored until they edit or delete it; site administrators can also view and edit it.
Your Rights
If you have an account or have left comments, you may request an export of the personal data we hold, or request that we erase it — except where we're required to retain it for administrative, legal or security purposes.
Where Data Is Sent
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam-detection service.
